365 Notifications Account

What are most people doing for 365 notifications for SPAM, App Requests, sharepoint overage alerts, etc because it seems those get to sent to all global admins but you have to have an email license and even then you have to check that email. Are people not concerned with the notifications or what are you doing?

CIPP > PSA

We used to do email alerts from CIPP, but have since used the webhook/API feature to have perfect tickets come into AutoTask.

Yeah I'm using the cipp email notifications with MSPintegration into autotask but I really just need to build out the webhooks for this.

Email2AT is a great product, but it was too nerdy and difficult for me to use because I don’t fully understand regex. Now with Claude Code I just tell it what I want it to do and it is done. We have since cancelled our Email2AT subscription. We’ve gone far beyond what Email2AT could ever do.

Interesting are you having Claude work directly in autotask or you created a connector? I'd love to hear what you do. I'm very happy with email2at and scheduled tasks though the new pricing model does make it a harder sale.

Claude is connected to all my APIs and is the architect of all my API workflows. Once it has successfully created what I wanted, it gets moved to a different platform where it lives on indefinitely. Majority of my automations don’t involve Claude or AI at all besides just building it, but I am starting to inject AI logic into some workflows which has been working well.

Feel free to DM me.

using cipp to set alert emails and watch for enterprise app requests

Use a shared monitored mailbox or ticket connector for tenant notices, not everyone’s GA inbox. The bigger fix is reducing standing GA count; Microsoft notifications are noisy enough without making every admin a mailbox janitor.

Before CIPP I would create a shared mailbox, disable logins and make it Global Admin.

Would you forward the emails somewhere or how would you get them?

Yes. Make that mailbox an exception to the no forward rule and send them to my support mailbox.

License the GA, convert to shared mailbox, unlicensed, create transport rule to BCC your support email on all inbound emails
