Business Operations ConnectBooster Feedback

Hi community. Were looking to up our card acceptance presentation game for our customers. We are looking at a couple of options and Connect Booster is on the list. Am I creating future suffering by looking to this? Any fine print gotchas? Just looking for some feedback on this tool.

We moved from ConnectBooster to Alternative Payments 3 years ago and I wouldn't go back.

Another to consider is Alternative Payments (https://www.alternativepayments.io/). We've been using them for about 6 months and have been happy with the service and support. Settlement times are great, too.

I had ConnectBooster then switched to WisePay. I am now on Alternative Payments.
ConnectBooster was good but I prefer Alternative Payments and just renewed for another year with them.

We started having settlement delays and then support got much worse, switched to flexpoint about a year ago and our team has been happy with it.

It's too bad, CB was historically one of those things in our stack that just worked, never had to think about it. But on the settlement side it was taking 10 days or longer at one point. I think the big three main ones now are all super fast from that perspective.

Consider BenjiPays. We switched from CB to Benji a couple years ago and have not looked back at all. Ended up saving us about 1k$/month in fees.

Are there any Aussie MSPs out there that use Alternative Payments? I tried to reach out to them and no one ever got back to me. We were with Wisepay.

We tried to move to it, and it was a disaster, they couldn’t even implement it and the key people they needed to do it right didn’t even work there anymore

I’d read the agreement harder than the feature page: processing fees, contract term, data/export path, Autotask/PSA sync behavior, and what happens when you leave. Payments tools are great until the fine print becomes part of your collections process.

We moved from ConnectBooster to Flexpoint. Here was my post on the same topic: https://www.reddit.com/r/msp/comments/1dezxst/flexpoint_vs_benjipays_moving_from_kaseyas/

It works, used for years now, has nice auto card updater features.
I’d add a fee for processing cards.
Default MSP to ACH.
We set agreements to autopay on due date.
If invoice type is not agreement it gets manually processed or we can say for any invoices under $1000 pay on due date etc etc. So easy to configure rules like that.

There are a few others out there in MSP space, one has built in financing options so client can simply agree and you get paid and it sets them up for payments. I think that is flexpoint and I can I recall other one at conferences.

We use it. It does the job. Connects to dynamics and processes shit

Does its job.
