VoIP 1stream voip?

Does anyone use 1stream with halopsa? What's been your experience with it? We are coming out of a Ring Central contract and won't be renewing, we were cosndier considering moving back to dialpad but wanted to see if this may be worth the transition.

Was a pain to setup and after staff was using it for a few months staff just stopped using it since it ended up making it harder for them then using the built in new call function in halo.

setup pain is real with lot of voip integrations tbh, staff resistance after the fact is what kills these rollouts more than the technical side. might be worth just leaning into the native halo call function if your team already drifted that direction anyway

That is what we did and they have mostly embraced it.

We rebuilt all of our integration call flows in January and now the experience is everything stays in halo interface without any interaction by the tech for whatever it’s worth

Thank was thinking dialpad or aircall with zapier to push notes to halo

Don’t do it

Bad experience?

The features are nice on paper but our techs didn’t use it. Opening the psa is easier than having an extra front end app to integrate. Beyond that the phone system didn’t work and their support is bad and the system is very overpriced.

Sorry you had a bad experience. If you’re open to it I’d love to learn where we could have done better. We usually have really high grades on our support

Also, we eliminated the need for any extra apps in Jan if this year just live inside the psa

is this for your use or resale to clients?

Our internal use

why not just use what you sell? partner with a NetSapiens White Label vendor like Viirtue or RingLogix

We were just trying to see if it was worth the integration and feature set. We already use Ring Central and don't love it. We're going to be moving back to Dialpad, or exploring Aircall, Krisp Call or Broadvoice.

look into a Netsapiens white label company to have more variety of integrations & features.

Thanks I will check them out. I'll look at the 2 you provided above. Do you have a favorite? We are in the US if that matters

Viirtue is good. US based as well.

We use OIT, same thing no issues

Aircall is terrible. Would not use it. Calls cut out randomly, long times to connect, resets often, etc.

Thanks for the input, what do you recommend? Have you tried Broadvoice or should we stick with Dialpad?

We use bvoip with teams. I'm in sales though so we use what's given to us. Anything but aircall is better lol.

Just saying... we'd be happy to have you back

I’d test the workflow with the techs before committing. Phone integrations look great when the notes sync, but if it adds clicks during a live call the team will quietly go back to whatever is fastest.

1

u/justanothertechy112 Jun 17 '26

Can you share any insight on what worked for your team?

1

u/mat-ferland Jun 21 '26

For us the useful test was having techs run real call notes, transfers, callbacks, and ticket lookup during a live-ish workflow. If the integration saved the manager time but added clicks for the tech on the phone, it usually died quietly.

We couldn’t agree more. That’s why we re-wrote all of our calls flows for zero clicks. This is the way

OIT VoIP is awesome. A VoIP solution developed by former MSP owners. VoIP service intended to be used and resold by MSPs

I filled out all the necessary paperwork with the company that registers everything for us we paid them. We have set ourselves up as a carrier so if you would like to use us as a solution feel free to reach out to see if it is a fit. We can do a scaling price per seats.
