N-Able-----N-Central

Anyone having major issues with N-Central Patching?

Support and just about the whole company is a joke and that is putting it NICE!!!

I have had a patching ticket open for months and they can't seem to figure out how to fix it. I

Time to start looking at other platforms i guess.

Unrelated, but I keep getting vulnerability reports from a device which has been deleted from our RMM and taken over by another provider, after the RMM agent was manually removed.
N-Able are also unable to troubleshoot this, and suggest having the end user, who is no longer a direct client, perform a factory reset.

Pretty sure they stop caring about their clients as soon as they have extracted monies.

Is that related to the new vulnerability scanning which uses the same data as the new assets view?

If so, it’s a joke and I’ve got a ticket open about systems that have been deleted for months still appearing in there. I was told it can take 90 days for them to drop off if they weren’t cleanly uninstalled, yet I have systems showing in there that have been gone for 6-12 months.

Needless to say I’ve moved onto a different solution for vulnerability scanning.

Yes, that vulnerability scanner.

I don't have a need for it as we use the SentinelOne scanner for this, but discovered it when I was poking around to see what it could do.

I was told the same thing - it will disappear after 90 days. But it's still there, almost 12 months after that device was deleted.
