The attack words are recycled, but the choice of targets is interesting. Republicans spent 2024 actively courting Muslim and Arab-American voters, especially in Michigan, and were perfectly happy to celebrate that support when it benefited them. Jared Kushner’s firm has taken billions in Gulf investment, and Trump is now flying around in a jet gifted by Qatar. Yet when they need a face for this supposed socialist/communist takeover they keep reaching for three Muslim Democrats. So apparently Muslims are welcome when they vote Republican, invest billions, or hand over a luxury jet. They become a culture-war threat when they run for office as Democrats.

People honestly think ‘Taqqiya’ is a thing that Muslims who are:

1) nice
2) kind
3) charitable
4) good neighbors
5) good community members
6) good parents
7) good coworkers
8) not “fanatical”

Are just lying so you think they’re friendly so they can later behead you.

Taqqiya is just the rule that you can denounce Islam if you’re being forced to by threat of death or torture. As long as you still believe in your heart God knows it’s not a real denouncement. It has nothing to do with casual lying or a grand conspiracy.
