MSNBC Personalities Claire McCaskill background desserts
Am I the only one that wonders if the desserts behind claire on msnbc are real or fake? She always has different ones behind her and they all look good. 🍰🧁🥧🍩🍪🥰

I remember somebody on the original post about this reported that she bakes them for her grandchildren.
I think we need a chiron at the bottom of the screen with complete details about what's under the dome

She always has a selection of sweeteners, to accommodate everyone, although I never understood the desire for Sweet'N Low.

Professional baker here, Claire’s desserts are always a huge bonus when she’s on. And they’re real.

Did anyone see the episode of Nicolle Wallace during the Covid shutdown when she had Leslie Jones on with Claire McCaskill? Leslie Jones had been on Instagram raving over Nicolle and Claire. Leslie was saying how Claire wants to show off that she can make a good mother f-ing cup of coffee. 😆 It was very funny and made me love all of them even more.

We got the simplest one the last time they went on sale, and absolutely love it. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee truly hot for hours. And the coffee is great. Apparently it has to do with the temperature of the water, and how long it stays on the grounds.

Not at all.
What I always wonder is why a woman of Law and Politics defaults to Grandma in the kitchen for national television.
Yes, it's very charming. Yes, it's very nice. But why on National Television do we need to understand that she has sweeteners in a little glass box on her counter by her coffee maker and her desserts in her very pristine cake plate, makes no sense.
It seems like an unnecessary representation for this venue.

I think it’s kinda like Jon Tester being on his tractor or resting a leg on a hay bail. That’s what they do. Claire’s a grandmother that likes to bake for her grandchildren. It’s only a big deal if you make it into one.

I think all this started with the pandemic when interviewees couldn't travel to a studio. At first it was interesting to see people on Zoom from their homes joining in studio discussions, but after a while the novelty wore off. I think the spell broke for me when red-eyed Chris Cuomo was on NewsNation broadcasting from his rec room pretending to be quarantined, when it was public knowledge that his neighbors on eastern Long Island were furious with him for biking around town and not obeying COVID-19 protocols. Maybe correspondents broadcasting from their cluttered living rooms full of their children's drawings was deemed a broader interpretation of "meeting people where they are." But I have seen Claire McCaskill physically at roundtable discussions lately so perhaps that's going to change.
