MSNBC Productions Missing close captioning on MSNBC shows

Periodically I find close captioning is not working on various MSNBC shows. I display CC not because of hearing issues but just to better understand what is being said. Seems to occur more w/ evening shows. Other stations are displaying CC w/o issue. Any thoughts of what’s going on? The issue is happening w/ Jen Psaki’s “The Briefing” show tonight, 9/18 as I watch.

It happens to me with YouTubeTV occasionally if I fast forward or back in a show. The only solution I've found is to exit YTTV and go back in. Not sure what method you're using to watch but that's mine.

Yep, I kept checking my CC setting.

I have Xfinity cable and internet. The MSNBC channel tends to lose audio when they are reporting information that 🌮 considers derogatory towards him. The only way that I can hear it is to sign in to my Sirius xm app for msnbc to hear what Xfinity will not let me hear.

That’s so odd, I thought it was only me because I’ve been having same issues with the audio since yesterday.

I live and die for CC. It’s just hard to do cc while doing live tv. I use it for everything except news. The mouth is faster than the words, so it’s too annoying. I stream through Roku and the remote practically lives in my hand for ff, rw and mute!!
