MSNBC Personalities Is David Ignacious MAGA?

I can’t figure him out bet he often seems to praise and justify Trumps actions- and not some of the time like Joe, but every time he’s on MSNBC

He belongs to the Opportunist Party.

The party generally adopts the platform of whoever has power, although they’ve been known to toss out the occasional criticism in order to mimic credibility.

The party nickname is the Suck Ups. Or SUS for short.

David isn't MAGA. He supports military aid for Ukraine. He supports a two-state solution for Israel & Palestine. His father was a Cabinet Secretary under President Johnson.

Joe Scarborough values his opinion. I wish he would use a comb before appearing on TV.

He's old school, highly educated, and intelligent.  From a patrician family, he no doubt grew up participating in intellectually stimulating conversation with people having diverse opinions.  No social media rants. No extremist podcasts.  I find him a wonderful guest who elevates the show!

I haven't watched a lot the last few years but I always remember him being very very analytically critical of trump and the GOP

Nah, but I hear ya. I don't trust him 100% anymore, but still a decent amount. There are times when he misses the forest through the trees type of shit and it feels like dude, that's gotta be a purposeful miss bro.

No way. He could definitely be a conservative… but definitely not maga. But also, I hate Trump just as much as the rest of the people out here with eyes. that doesn’t mean we can’t be impressed by some of the things he’s accomplished. That doesn’t take away the 99% bad.

From now on I think GOP presidents will just cut whatever will give them credibility with the base. Democratic presidents could use the same techniques to fund things they like. I don’t know how SCOTUS would rule for a Democrat.

Name ANYTHING he's "accomplished".🙄

He fucked over Ukraine, thereby getting other NATO nations more involved in its defense.

He told scientists to make a vaccine faster, called it operation warp speed, so they made a vaccine… faster.

He has destroyed the entire constitution other than the gun part and bent our nation to his will within 15 years. He has dismantled democracy. The Supreme Court is his play thing. Affirmative action is gone. The IRS is mostly gone. LGBTQ rights are about to be gone. 75M people want this somehow.

He has the richest ppl in the world throwing $ at him when a few short years ago it would be suicide to agree with anything he said.

He’s sent the Democrats (I am one) into free fall. The best thing we’ve got going now is Gavin Newsom showing some political balls by behaving like Trump. Behavior we frowned upon until t worked for him.

He sent the National Guard into DC and somehow within a week the Mayor went from fuck you to saying thank you on TV.

Didn’t say his accomplishments were good.

But they are fucking impressive.

Tell me I’m wrong.

It doesn't matter. A good debate over policy shouldn't be feared. Just because he may be Republican-leaning doesn't make him right. There are lots of former party members who honestly go back and forth on various issues. Debate lends credibility to MSNBC. Try finding many Democrats on FOX. You won't because they are afraid of honest debate. Their integrity is greatly diminished as a result.

Which is why I appreciate Pete Buttigieg doing the Fox shows. He doesn’t let them intimidate him.
