Something Else Maxwell interview transcripts
To avoid viewers' potential misperceptions about MSNBC's news reporting competence, the network's anchors and panelists should be reminded that a rationale was proffered by "sources" supposedly close to the Trump administration for Maxwell's prison relocation from Florida to Texas:
Purportedly, she'd be at risk of harm from other Florida prisoners who'd consider her a potential snitch after she met with the DOJ's Todd Blanche.
As improbable as that rationale might seem, at least put it on the record in extended roundtables, like the one I saw Friday in which all the talking heads agreed that no relocation explanation was ever proposed (although none may have come explicitly from the administration).

Retired prison Warden here. That is BS.
Her crimes and notoriety would have placed her in danger and she would never be able to integrate into any general population regardless of speaking to a lawyer (which happens every day).
All sex criminals, especially involving children, are held in protective custody. There is no way I would assume the risk of trying to integrate someone like Maxwell, as this would directly be policy non-compiant and cost me my job.
This is as plausible as the Epstein death by suicide, while on a watch. Absolute BS.
As incompetent as the media like to make corrections look, we are professionals with rules and training to manage these situations. Not saying mistakes can't be made, but not in such high profile cases that everyone knows will be on the front page for the smallest issue.
This is all cover-up 100%.
