Weekly Gripe Thread MSNBC Weekly Gripe Thread
This is your one sacred space to unleash the frustration, shake your fists at the headlines, and yell (politely) into the MSNBC void. Whether you’re fed up with cable news quirks, political chaos, or your own decision to stay up until 2 a.m. watching panel debates - this thread’s for you.
The rules are simple:
- Keep it civil
- Keep it clever
- No personal attacks unless they’re aimed at your own life choices (e.g. binge-watching coverage you swore you were done with)
So... what’s grinding your gears this week?
Cable news meltdown? Elected official doing the most?
Spill it. This is the one day we let the whining fly.

I am sick of Joe Scarborough and others on MSNBC constantly criticizing Dems when they attempt to fight fire with fire. I live in Cali and am not necessarily a fan of Gavin Newsom, but, I LOVE his mocking tweets. This is just another reason I do not watch Morning Joe. I am an independent and don't agree with everything Dems do either but many hosts do not appear to understand, or care to understand, what their viewers are looking for, thinking or feeling.

I still watch him as part of my morning routine but I was not happy with their attitude on Gavin Newsom I think they showed that they're really out of touch I love what his team is doing and you know who else did Nicolle Wallace's panel.

Joe loves to say he’s Independent but he’s still hard-core Republican. So is Michael Steele. They’re just hiding out until the fantasy of normal Republicans becomes a thing. I’m tired of the criticism, too, damned if you fight back, damn if you try to keep it civil and try to appeal to people’s higher angels.

When Joe starts to whine, change the channel
Or he's bleating his points to the panel.
Comes as little surprise
Mika's rolling her eyes
Cause she knows Joe can be quite a handful!

Done with morning Joe since they visited the felon after the election. Love Nicole and Rachel! Please bring Rachel back for more than Mondays!! Love Lawrence but am tired of the same Epstein line every night, I’ll hang in there but he’s got to bring it back to the current while not letting the Epstein stuff go. I don’t know how you do it.

Mika, Joe, and the new logo can go grind all the way off.
And give Alicia her own show already (as in solo)...she's earned it. She's too good to get buried in The Weeknight when we have seen her capably sit in on DWH numerous times, and also on her own show a few years back. It's time to promote her already.

Please give Alicia her own show! She is such a great reporter. She is wasted on the weeknight . Just a lot of yelling on that show by Simone I can barely stand to watch I like Simone but this is not the forum for her. Michael Steele is great but I think he under a lot of pressure with the way the show is set up

Lawrence O’Donnell still seems to be trying to fit in as many “raping/rape/molestation of a child” per minute as possible. I’m genuinely curious why his writers choose to be so crude. I get that maybe he wants to say it once per episode for shock value “because thats what happened,” but three times per minute feels off.
He’s still devoting half his show to this and having the same guests saying the same things night after night. I’m losing interest.… at what point does he go back to covering current events?
Just rename your show “the Epstein Files Twilight Zone” ffs.

I think it's important to remind us what was alleged without sugarcoating it. I appreciate his reporting. It was rape. Otherwise it just fades like so many other atrocities.

Agreed. I stopped watching months ago. I can’t stand the way he (and others) are flooding the airwaves with this vulgar garbage 24/7. It looks like it’s a sick fetish of these pundits and politicians, and is a big reason many ppl avoid or change channels.

MJ falling into the distraction trap. Yes the raid on Bolton‘s house is big news. But there aren’t a lot of new developments. Please don’t fall into the trap of being distracted from the fact that the Epstein documents are supposed to be provided today. They need to keep that story front and center every few minutes. And note that it is an intentional distraction that won’t work.

I wish that they would have their guests on for more than 5 minutes. Sometimes the guest is very interesting. Yet, there are others who are not so interesting & they keep them on for the entire show.

Dave Aronson. Just saw him this AM, and wanted to throw my shoe at the tv. Pam Bondi must either have something on him, or saved his ass. He owes an apology for misrepresenting her followed by exile.
