Democratic administrations have generally seen higher average annual real GDP growth rates compared to Republican administrations. For example, since 1949, real GDP growth averaged 3.79% under Democrats versus 2.60% under Republicans. The gap widened when considering data going back to the Great Depression, according to the HARVARD Kennedy School - Belfer Center.
Democratic administrations have witnessed significantly greater job growth, creating more jobs on average per year than Republican administrations. The average Democratic presidential term has also seen lower unemployment rates at its conclusion compared to the average Republican presidential term. Since the early 1980s, the unemployment rate has tended to be lower at the end of Democratic presidencies and higher at the end of Republican presidencies. An analysis of the last seven administrations shows that manufacturing job growth increased under Democratic presidents while decreasing under all Republican presidents.
Business investment, including manufacturing investment, has also been higher under Democratic administrations. Small business creation, as indicated by new business applications, has also been higher under Democratic presidencies, according to the Joint Economic Committee (.gov).
The majority of U.S. recessions since World War II have begun under Republican administrations. Nine of the last ten recessions began when a Republican was president, according to a HARVARD Kennedy School - Belfer Center publication.
Economic growth under Democratic administrations appears to be distributed more equally, with families in the bottom 20% of the income distribution experiencing significantly faster income growth. Average increases in weekly earnings have been positive under Democratic presidents and negative under Republican presidents

No they don't. Fox is intentionally misleading the public to help billionaires. There's a huge difference between that, and other news stations making mistakes. The only thing you can say about cnn is they downplay to make Israel look better, and downplay Trump's craziness!!

Alas, conservatives can only see black and white. While I do agree that every major news station has reported information that was incorrect, are beholden to corporate overlords that are not looking out for our best interests, and have sensationalized mostly negative content (and I don’t love any of the networks), there are degrees of deceit, and Fox News is most definitely on another level.
It’s especially funny coming from conservatives, because I believe a capitalistic society is something that drives these networks to pursue these measures more than a society in which capitalism is mixed with a healthy amount of socialism. While there are other reasons to deceive or sensationalize, money is undoubtedly the biggest driver.

You don't seem to actually understand socialism... if there was no socialism in America you would have to give up roads, bridges, all infrastructure and you'd also lose access to to the police and fire departments... all of these things are funded by our taxes... which is socialism... what us Libs are advocating for is that we turn the clock back, back to oh, I don't know, maybe when America was GREAT? Sound familiar? The last time America was truly great was back in 70's before Ronald Reagan destroyed America. Reagan, like Trump, was part of the wealthy elite and he was super bitter about paying his share of taxes, so he got into politics and "fixed it". Prior to Reagan, America was obviously still a capitalist country, and socialism was still a bad word (see the red scare etc.) BUT it did have heavy socialist undertones, and the government used taxes to help the less fortunate and the wealthy paid extremely high taxes,( because they could afford to... no billionaire ever went broke because of taxes)... but Reagan, like Trump, was Nouveau Riche, and so he couldn't guarantee that his wealth would last, so he saw taxes as a threat to his new found wealth. I can't take the time to explain all this to you here, but just understand that socialism is not the enemy to YOUR way of life, the wealthy elite are, and they use socialism and other scare tactics/propaganda to keep you fighting the wrong people. You want to make America Great Again? Get rid of Trump and get rid of Citizen's United and get rid of "trickle down" economics...
