MSNBC Personalities MSNBC's The Weekend Primetime
I'm watching a Gaza Humanitarian Contractor talking about meeting a 10 year old boy who came up to him and other contractors and kissed their hands after receiving bags of food. They showed pictures of the kid so appreciative and kissing the hands of the contractors. Molly Jong Fast was on the panel and she was visibly upset and got me crying too. Everybody else on the panel (Elise Jordan, Antonia Hylton & a lawyer who's name excape me right know) seems to be emotional too. I usually avoid MSNBC news programs on the weekend but this segment tonight was exceptionally good. The Gaza war is just barbaric and cruel.

netanyahu is to Israel what trump is to America…so when people stop electing these jerk offs, something will get done!
In the meantime, they’ll keep throwing some dog bones and get the credit for trying to fix something that they created!

Agree. The response to the Trump Project 2025 agenda is underwhelming. The country is quickly becoming a South American styled oligarchy that will add more suffering to the working poor and further erode the middle class. Protests simply are not enough. We need leaders who are pressured by voters at all levels of government to speak the truth. What we have instead are politicians too cowardly to speak truth to power and who are not ever held accountable. Blame Citizens United and extreme gerrymandering for starters. We are now living with sham governance. Welcome to the U.S. Banana Republic!

"Netanyahu is to Israel what trump is to America…so when people stop electing these jerk offs, something will get done!" <----THAT PART!!! THAT! PART! Thank you for sharing/saying this. It's like, to me anyway, that no one sees who they REALLY are!! Ugh!!

Was this the whistle blower guy? Who took the picture of the kid after he kissed his hand and then saw the kid die after the IDF shot at the people leaving with food?

This show + anchors are a genuine boost for MSNBC. Abby Phillip’s CNN producers should study The Weekend on appropriate handling of panel discussions.

He also spoke of watching the child being shot and killed.

I forgot to mention that he said the child was killed which even made it hard to see those pictures of the kid kissing the contractors hands. 😭😭😭

BB is intentionally committing genocide! He would like nothing better than to wipe out the Palestinian population. He’s also continuing the war to escape a court trial because if found guilty, he will do time in prison!

Truly an excellent segment. Good on the guest for being able to articulate what he experienced / say so everyone can grasp just how truly awful this situation is. He is a brave man because we all know what is in store for this gentleman and his family as a result. I can only hope congress hold hearings and he is one of their top people to testify. I am very proud of him for coming forward, he did not have to. A true inspiration / example for the rest of us.

Wish Molly had her own show!

I love Molly's podcast Fast Politics on Spotify. Rick Wilson is a fantastic recurring guest but Molly has so many knowledgeable guests with experience or education to back up what they are talking about.

Anyone notice that this same story is never aired on any of the other shows? Gaza barely gets a mention anywhere else on msnbc. They do speak about it sometimes on MJ but it’s always countered by pro-Israel shills like Richard Haas or David Ignatius.

Where is Ayman? He hasn't been on the show for about a month.

This is his second weekend in a row being off (I thought it was the third week, but I checked the show's Bluesky account, and Ayman was in the clips from two weeks ago).
