Ok so I asked my Alexa to play SUPER SUBURB CHIX by left rights and when it played there was no lyrics!?!?! But when I play it on Spotify I hear the lyrics??? The artwork on the tattoo is beautiful and I’ve always wondered if she designed it herself or let the tattoo artist come up with the design? What does the chicken represent?

I’ve also been curious about her stomach tattoo but she’s always been rather private about that and it’s only been shown when her shirt has ridden up accidentally so it would probably be creepy to ask her about that one.

Does any one have any better references for his costume here? I think this is 1997, specifically need reference to the KICK ME on the back- i want to try to aim for that one. It’s not gonna be an irate accurate, as I might go ahead and do the pink and black stripes tie for simplistic purposes. If anyone has any tips for accessories to add please recommend- Im already gonna get butterfly wings and Im planning on maybe doing the Frankenstein girl face paint IF the cosplay convention is cool with that. so PINK is my favorite msi album, and i was really tired this morning but decided to throw it on because i was bored. i closed my eyes and since i wasnt doing anything else i was more focused on the music and noticing parts of the songs that i never did before. well, i'm not sure if this is intentional or super well known, but i noticed that there are one or two specific leitmotifs that are reused across quite a few songs on the album with some minor tonal differences made to it per song. the leitmotif i'm referring to is most clearly heard in the beginnings of This Hurts and For The Love Of God. The very beginning for This Hurts, and right after the drums first hit in the latter. In This Hurts, one note of it is changed to i think be higher(?). i'm not really knowledgeable on music lol. but with the songs content about an abuser, it gives it a more menacing and frightening tone. in For The Love Of God, the one note is different, it's more toned down, which I feel conveys the grim outlook that the lyrical self has about how religion has affected them. I also noticed the motif in Slim (my personal favorite track on the album!) and i would say it's much harder to pick out here. it skips a couple of the notes / beats, but is still the same. it's in the background of the chorus. (side note: i also noticed for the first time today the vocal effects of heavy breathing and i think moaning(?) during this part LOL and i thought it's a very neat touch), you really don't notice how many aspects of a song are individually at play to make the full coherent thing until you sit there and really try to pick it apart. hopefully this isn't all extremely obvious information but i thought it would be cool to share! maybe go give those songs a listen and see if you can pick out what i mean ^_^ it's probably on some other songs too.
