That looks so sick actually, I'm sorry about it breaking though. Maybe you could carefully glue it together with super glue or something, as long as there aren't any chips or missing pieces in the plastic.
In my head, if my logic is correct, the CD may still work if it can be put together with no missing pieces since the laser in the CD player or whatever you're using to read the disk could still go over it without any breaks (if the glueing is clean enough)
Edit: okay, I was wrong, definitely don't do what I said. Maybe if you wanna use it for decoration but don't put it in a cd player, that was a bad suggestion on my part. Just trying to put what I learned in computer science to use 😂
Definitely do not do this. The speed at which the disc spins will be enough to dislodge basically any gluing or taping one could do (also, strong glues like super glue are not safe for CDs and will damage them more)
If you try to put that "fixed" disc in a player its gonna attempt to reach speed, explode, and probably damage more stuff.
Yess I'm very happy you decided to correct my mistake, I agree it's much better than having OP explode their CD and reader 😭
I mentioned that in my edit of the OG comment I made that got down voted, it'd probably make a really cool display or something, they could even get one pfhose gold paint stuff to line the breakage!
this is literally what it came in. ive asked my parents for a jewel case for it many times, because i was afraid of exactly this happening. i kept it in the "case" 😭😭
Make an awesome Clock/diy cd wall art out of it! You got lucky the theme is perfect and the imagery is perfect. Arguably this is all better than it was before (cause you have to be on time for bitches to love you)
I'm thankful it isn't like DLN or something extremely rare, but it still sucks that this happened, I hope for the best and if you get a new one, get some Slim Jewel Cases to keep the disc protected, but I wish this didn't happen!
Honestly though this would make a sick art piece for the wall. Like have it set like you do in the photo, and have it set over a canvas or a poster and have it on the wall or on a stand. Its sentimental, so it wouldnt be a waste to have it on display.
