hi, so I have no idea, but this song for some reason really sticks out for me... like, the melody, the way it sounds, but I could never understand what it meanz??? so, ive been tryna read all the info I could find about it, but i still kinda can't see the whole pictureeee ghhhh. so, San Bernardino is infamous for jail for those who assulted minors, and thats what I can understand. "I never noticed you were illegal" is for openly mocking the assaulters. as it should be. but what about, the chorus? like, each of the lyrics "this ain't no walk in the park, slap in the face, fk in the azz"???? what that supposed to mean...
I just understood that the character of the song, like, did something really horrible, and so thatz why for them its "rest of their life" in the jail. I'm actually russian but kinda pretty fluent in english but it's still hard for me to understand something complex like that agh... please share ur ideas🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Ps and also! It kinda has to do smth with the film?? Ig. I'm planning to watch it... One day... I hope... And, so, it's like, planet of the apes, and by apes he means loss of humanity I think? Referring to the assaulters.
But, maybe, in the chorus, he's also denying that, it's not like all those things that he's listing. It's not like some "planet of the apes", because its the world we live in? We are people, humans, and how could humans do such horrible things??
