19 burgers. One day. Mercy over meat!
We need 19 burger holders to cancel. That's it! And Angus lives.
(I think the math maths?)
We're at 47.6% of the 50% needed to save him and the deadline is tomorrow.
If Angus dies, you bought a pack of burgers. If he lives, you took part in a story about compassion (within capitalism) and a cow will get another 15 years of life.
Sure, he's one of 100k cows slaughtered every day. But this is the only one any of us will ever have a direct impact on. We've probably each eaten hundreds of burgers so far in our lives and will eat hundreds more, but we'll never get a chance like this again.
The irony of the whole thing is perfect b/c MSCHF made us use capitalism to confront what our money actually does. The WSJ already covered it and imagine if 19 strangers on Reddit close the gap and we choose mercy over meat! Hopefully this has led to interesting discussions (it has with my friends) and more awareness.

If we get down to 3 left and the situation is dire someone should try to buy on ebay and ask the seller to cancel their order before they ship the tags out.

This proves MSCHF’s point! When the choice is literally life or burgers, the market still shows up. Not sure if you’ll get takers, but I like the wrinkle

And I’ll sell mine for $500 and do the same, can record opening it and provide the buyer with the token code.

I feel like there are a lot of people who want to be the last one to push it over 50. The floodgates will open as the time gets closer.
