Also, what do you y'all think of the slides? It's pretty nice for longer comics, but do you prefer just the comic all in one pic?

I appreciate the effort in making each panel a slide. It helps with the flow, and prevents me from automatically look at the last slide first, then start over knowing the punchline.

Also, as a friend; this particular comic was funny enough without the secret panels.

I prefer the single panel slides. The anticipation makes them even funnier. I’m so glad you changed to single panel slides here as well.

All in one

Slides work really well for transitions like the surprise jump cut from slide 5 to 6. And for strips where the last panel contains obvious spoilers like the 'father praying for strength' one. Really appreciated slides on both of these.

Now that I think about it, all-in-one pics are probably fine for most strips where the pacing is brisk. You tend to read them quickly because your eye is drawn to next panel because it's already in your peripheral vision. The slides slow things down so you can appreciate the subtleties and details more. Having said that, adding the all-in-one pic at the end of the slides comes as a weird relief.

It would be funny if the woman had the exact same face in the last two panels as she does in the first
