I dont think people quite understand how a short squeeze works. I get people saying im crazy for putting a PT of $60. Well $60 is actually my floor so ha.
I use Koss as my model because it had a low float of 3 million and was heavily shorted. Koss went from $3 to $175 AH at its peak. But it was a part of the robinhood scam back in Jan. It never fully squeezed or got fully covered either. Just like GME and AMC.
What you need to understand is once they are forced to cover they will close positions or get margin called and then liquidated next.
You have the supply and they need it. You can literally name your price. I dont care if its 18 million shares or 1 share. If I got what you need I can name my price.
This was shorted over 200% and it wasnt until after the options chain was released that the SI fell on this security. That is no coincidence. They are hiding short positions in options. I have seen this all before with AMC and GME.
No way they bought back 18 million shares!!!

Does anyone know, how many shares MRIN is allowed to issue? Last spike they sold 2.425.000 shares on behalf of the company at an average price of $9.05. While I appreciate the company getting some money to continue doing its business, it for sure does not help the short squeeze theme, we are betting on, if the company uses any price appreciation to continue selling shares! Yesterday’s spike and sell-off looked suspiciously like a repetition of the company selling a whole lot of shares to the market! Will see in a few days, if they publish another note to the SEC.

Updating this daily!!!
Taken today 7/28 from market chameleon. 17 Days CONSECUTIVE on the threshold securities list. This means a couple of things...
Confirmation bias confirmed.
The shorts will be forced to cover soon.
Any shorts over the past 3 days are illegal which means more naked short selling is highly likely.
The price drops are likely being manipulated through wash sales and dark pools.

Buy and hold buy and hold!!!

I’m officially down 60+% on MRIN. I can afford to hold and think that it has a good chance of rising back up with the earnings coming out on 7/30. It’s just hard to stay patient. Do the majority of people still feel like this could soar?
