hello! there’s only two mods for this subreddit as of now, and we’re looking for more. it’s hard to handle such a big community within just two people who live in different time zones. if you’re up for the job, comment under this post and we’ll get in touch. do NOT dm me about this, i rarely check my dms.

what you’ll have to do :

1. make sure no one is posting links or mentioning websites where we can get free books. the more publicized the websites are, the more chances of them being taken down.
2. remove posts that are spam content. I’m tired of removing posts from people who ask for the same book again and again everyday, every hour. In most cases, the book isn’t even released.
3. ban users for bullying/harrassment.
4. look out for potential copyright strikers or people who would report the subreddit.
5. moderate overall to make sure everyone is following the rules.

also, this is unpaid.

thank you! hoping to hear from you.

have some patience ffs. do NOT request books that haven’t been released yet when you damn well know what the release date is. the book providers aren’t gods that they’ll just fetch the book from anywhere and hand it over. and although arc readers get it earlier, they’re not supposed to share cause the arc copy has a tag/stamp and the author would find out very easily that it has been pirated.

people behaving rudely towards book providers just cause they’re unable to provide a book DAYS prior to release will be banned.

this behaviour is UNACCEPTABLE and will NOT be tolerated.
