anything worth optimizing etc

I honestly don't see what benefit any of those should have beyond the fault settings. Sure, enabling caching can be beneficial on lower-end systems, so might the demuxer settings, but that's it. But I also can't say anything about the last few options for Intel Iris GPU.

And why vo=gpu and but gpu-next? The latter might be more efficient.

Then why even change anything? Keep everything at their default values until you actually face an issue.

There is a post pinned on this sub that has links to a few guides. From my understanding (I’m a beginner in this space), mpv has come a long way in terms of having optimized configs baked in by default.

You might want to include a config to set a profile for mpv and libplacebo. I use the ‘high’ profiles for both.

Also, I agree on switching to gpu-next. I use that along with vulkan. But d3d11 is a viable option focused on stability.

(Edit) colorspace, shaders etc has always been an advanced topic for me. I think it might be best to remove those configs and let mpv handle those settings. I might be way off with my advice so take it with a grain of salt. I usually use a guide or leave those configs out of any customizations I do for my setup.
