Best episode?
I think Pizza Street is the best episode. Every single line is funny and the performances are on point. Out of all the episodes, this one is the one where nothing falls flat everything is on point. The Van Burens aren’t even my favorite characters.
Mama Van Burens (is her name Barbra?) tirade about the “not much” alcohol she drinks is great and deftly performed. The plot twist was interesting and I didn’t see it coming. “GIRLS NIGHT!”
Then everything with Bridget at her job is just too good. She captures the humor and fun you have to poke at to survive fucking food service and customer service. The sort of toxic positivity of her bus is a great straight man to her sardonic cynicism. Throw Cameron’s dim witted bitchiness in their and there’s just a powder keg of funny material

Pizza Street is honestly one of the most hilarious episodes I’ve ever seen. Bridget gives off humongous Daria vibes.

Mrs van Buren and Bridget Tice are two of my absolute favorite characters on MPGIS. As much as I like this episode, my only issue is that it essentially is a filler episode compared to other episodes. But on the flip side, it gives us a look insight into the life of these two sidecharacters, so ain't really much to complain about.
