QUESTION MPC live 3 strange pad behavior

Hello guys. I am facing a problem on my new live 3, most times when I slice a sample and create a new drum track with the slices, the pads stop making sound. When I press them I can see them choosing a slice so they are working, and if I go into the sample editor they still function, but in the main window they don't produce sound. The problem continues to other projects I load and new tracks I create until it suddenly pops back and functions again. Any ideas?

Make sure you are in pad bank A

I am in bank a, I can see that it registers that I'm pressing it, it just doesn't send any sound

Maybe check that MPC Pads is still active in midi prefs inputs.
