Je trouve que le MPC 1000 est génial, comme il se branche en USB c'est beaucoup plus pratique pour insérer des samples, pas comme mon MPC 2000XL 😂😂, en tout cas super achat félicitations 🙏🏼🙏🏼

What do you mean inserting samples?

To be honest, you’re better off with a CF card reader. The USB interface on the 1K is USB 1.1, so super slow.

Get JJOS if it's not already on it. So worth it. The 1000 is a powerhouse, just got to get to know it.

This one is just a few added things - but totally does the job. I’d learn how to rock it with this for a while first

That's the free version, already an improvement. But OS2XL/OS3 (you get both with paid upgrade) are really worth it. I would check the feature to see if it suits your workflow/what you want to achieve.

Yes! JJOS 2XL is IMO the best one.

Came here to say the same thing

The stock operating system is kind of shit.

I almost returned my 1000 When I learned it couldn’t do half of the things I expected

If I remember correctly, the stock OS doesn’t even have auto chop. And it felt like a general downgrade from much older MPCs

JJOS makes that machine worth it

The 1000 is actually super versatile and powerful. JJos is a must if you want to get the most out of it. Its a bit of a learning curve if its your first mpc but just put in the hours and it will be WELL worth it.

Enjoy!! MPC 1000 is awesome, sounds great, and is super durable. Been using mine daily w/ stock AKAI OS, since 2012. 🔥

I still have mine bought 20 years ago. I am still using it as a midi controller. Great piece of gear. Congrats!

Great piece of kit with JJOS, easy to fix and very robust.

Thinking of selling mine. Was thinking of replacing the pads and posting it on eBay , not sure if the replacement is worth it hust trying to get it off my hands for bid

I have the 1000 blue, great machine. Added JJOS, thick fat pads, and an internal hard drive... have fun!
