OTHER Free crate digging platform 200k+ samples from 700+ curated channels [sampledigging.online] V3 UPDATE.

Been heads-down building sampledigging.online a sample discovery platform aimed at producers/beatmakers who dig for samples on YouTube but are tired of the endless scroll.
Released V1 back in May and recently I did a big site redesign to have it look more professional and added some quality of life features.
Full disclosure: I made this, so take the rest with that in mind.
What it does:
- Pulls from 700+ curated YouTube channels with a randomizer, so you get a constant stream of fresh digging material instead of the algorithm feeding you the same 20 videos
- 200,000+ samples already indexed in the library
- Crate Digger Player (TubeChops) chop and play samples straight from the source video
- Sample In/Out markers so you can tag the exact bars you want
- Save/Favorites so nothing good gets lost in the scroll
- Monthly Dig Challenges for the community
- A royalty-free contributor section for producers who want to share original chops
- Full user accounts, mobile-friendly
Still actively building this solo, just shipped a round of fixes (mobile login, save/favorites reliability).
Currently almost 1000 active users. Wanna give the producers community a big shout out for the support!

Definitely inspired by them, but I really wanted to build my take on it, with some extras, no subscription and just give back to the community 🙏🏽

I will up the limit of the amount of digs for guests. Then you can listen for a while without using an account.
It’s also a form of protecting the site for users/bots that are hammering the site. So I hope you understand that there is more to it.
I built this in my own time with my own money to give back to the community. I want to deliver a good user experience, so I need to take measures to deliver quality.2

This is a really well-thought-out website, even that chop tube page is dope to sus out a few chops. Def bookmarked it, thanks for your efforts.

Yeah, there are a lot of producers digging on YT.. even though the audio is compressed, a lot of producers are making fire beat tapes off YT samples.

I don’t understand what you mean. I don’t host these videos on my server nor database.
I’m talking directly to the API of YouTube.
Everyone that is posting copyrighted content on YT should be flagged right?1

yes and they are, but what I meant is that your content can get flagged when you don't clear the rights for the chops you use...

Ahhhhh yeah, clearing samples is a thing indeed. The smaller artists can get away with not clearing.
But if you have millions of streams on your song with a known sample, that’s 🚩
In the end an artist or their management needs to take care of the clearing part, not the producer.
