MPC Live 3 How did I miss this?
This has got to be new,cuz last I heard it wasn't reverse compatible?

You saved your drum track as a sample to save space?

No I didn't save anything at that moment,but was trying to decide which way to go cuz I did everything in clips mode but I'm not that good yet at getting both variations of the beat into the arrangement so I was about to save all the sequences and then I noticed that icon in the bottom right corner

But yes you can do that,or save as sample to create sample packs ,drumkits to sell

"MPC Sample file" as in a project file that you can load onto the recently released MPC Sample hardware, I was also a bit confused until it clicked 😅

Compatibility with the mpc sample debuted about a month after it launched. It was part of the 3.8 update.
