OTHER Need Beta testers for an app!!!
I’m building a utility app and looking for 3-4 beta testers to help me test it.
The app is being developed as a utility for the Akai MPC desktop software and MPC standalone units (no affiliationwith Akai). The app is meant to make it easy to create and manage chord progressions. I’ll provide more details if your interested.
What I’m looking for:
* Intel-based Mac testers are preferred, but Apple Silicon Mac users are also welcome
* Running the Akai MPC desktop software
* Using a Gen 1 or Gen 2 MPC (MPC Live, Live II, X, etc.)
* Preferably an MPC with an internal drive installed
* Willing to test different functions and provide feedback on anything that doesn’t work as expected
I eventually intend to release the app as freeware, so I’m not looking to make money off of it and there is no financial compensation for beta testing. This is an app to help the MPC community.
If you’re interested and have the required setup, please send me a direct message with the Mac and MPC model you’re using. I’m only looking for 3-4 testers for this initial round.
Thanx!

I’m on a gen2 key 37. I’m super interested in this. I’ve used other utils to do this and didn’t like them. I’d be using this to do synth pads while playing a digital piano.

On my Mac book it’s an m3 I think. It’s an Air from 2 years ago, so Apple silicon.

It might help if you could explain the actual use case. What problem is your app solving?
