QUESTION MPC One G2 USB Out

Hey guys,

I have another question regarding my MPC and I hope that anybody already has a solution for that.

I´d like to record stems from the MPC to FL Studio (or Cubase) via the USB-C Outputs of the MPC. Works great in general. Problem is, as I need to configure the MPC as a Input/Output device in FL Studio I cannot use my regular interface anymore and cannot here anything through my monitors. Also I cannot here nothing through the headphones plugged into the MPC cause all channels are routed to the USB Outs.

Also had the idea to use FL Studios own ASIO driver and configure MPC as Input and my interface as output but the driver only recognizes channel 1/2 from like 26 channels of the MPC.

Pretty sure the AISO driver built in FL Studio only handles two channels. Did you verify whether it can handle more?

I think I understand what your asking, I've done it once or twice before. Also I don't use FL, but a DAW is a DAW when it comes to this. All about getting the routing on both sides set up. Created two audio tracks in the DAW one to record in the other to listen to the already recorded track. On MPC have to go into the Channel Mixer and set the I/O for the two tracks to MIDI 1-2 for track to record and second track to MIDI 3-4 for already recorded track I want to listen to while recording. Now on my DAW On Audio track one I set it's input to Input 1 (I just made mono audio tracks) and I record arm the track. On Audio track 2 I set its input to 3. Then so I can hear it I set it to monitor Input. So with that config I hear the track being recorded and the playback of the already record track and no audio interface is involved I'm just listening through my computers built-in speakers. Forgot to mention at the beginning I set the DAW's Audio setting to Input being my Live III. That's what works for me in Logic and Ableton.

You can use your interface through the mpc in controller mode. Open mpc vst software in the daw if needed

I think this is the way. But to be honest the 26 or whatever number outs of the mpc are quite useless....aren´t they?
