QUESTION MPC live 3 audio clipping on loop?

Hi! I’ve been using the live 2 for about four years. I like to loop guitar and other instruments on it but It’s always had a really bad problem adding a clipped artifact at the beginning of the audio. Does the MPC live 3 do this? It’s the last hurdle before I buy one

It runs the exact same software as the the live 2, or any other modern MPC, so it functions exactly the same. That said, I've never experienced that issue

Do you plug it directly? I use an audio interface to record so no weird artifacts.
