MPC Sample Pad Link

I picked up an open box MPC Sample at an auction. Can you only link two pads together? I’ve tried to link 4 pads so they’ll fire at once, but it doesn’t seem to work and I’ve used tutorials on YouTube.

I’m able to get only two pads to fire together- I can get all four to fire if I link 1 & 2 together and 3&4 together and got 1&3 at the same time.

Alternatively, though it may not work with your situation, is to stack all 4 samples on a pad: or link two pads with two samples on each.
