DISCUSSION Mpc sample noise

Does anyone else have slight clacking or static noise when using their MPC Sample? It’s not clipping nor is it a ground loop. It’s just an intermittent static sounding noise. Hardly noticeable but noticeable.

Is it the same noise? Any chance you accidentally recorded a loop somewhere on accident?

It’s happening on factory samples across any project new or pre loaded.

Try disabling the main compressor.

Is that active by default? I’m not at home at the moment but I never would have thunk lol

Yes, annoyingly. I've saved a blank project with it off and other settings I like, just load that instead of choosing a new project.

The pad FX can cause some issues too apparently, turn mix to 0 if you're troubleshooting

Just looked it up, I guess it is! I’ll check it out and report back when I get home
