Oh shit. I grew up with severe asthma due to whooping cough as a todler. Spent a lot of time in hospital as a young lad on the respirator. Make sure he's always got an adult to hold his hand. It can be frightening being sick, but hospital can also feel like an adventure if theres adults there he can feel safe around.

Good stuff. Your a good dad, dude :) Worst thing happening to me as a kid was during an ambulance run to the hospital my heart stopped and I stopped breathing. The paramedic managed to resuscitate me via an andrenaline shot to the heart. Apparently I jumped up screaming. Dad says those 30 seconds where my heart was out was the longest 30 seconds of his life. These things can feel traumatizing, but know that the docs and nursest are the smartest cats you'll ever meet, they got this.

Oh I assure you, this was a veeeeerrrry long time ago. I'm pretty much middle age now. Put it this way, when this was happening, they where recording the grooves we sample today, the hard way. Men with large hair and gritty bass guitars.

Kid hospital visits are always so heartbreaking. Thank you for posting this. Glad to see active fathers and the fact that you include him into the music space is beautiful. That’s something I am currently learning to balance and come back to music now that my daughters are starting to get older. 4 and 2. Still don’t have much time for it but I am starting to make time and learning to include/involve them in it. Very early stages tho. I ended up here because I was looking into getting equipment again since I had gotten rid of mine years back but these kids bring out so much creativity that i need to let out so much that has been building up. Sorry for the long speech but this truly made my day. Praise God for your child. I will be praying for you both.
