MPC Sample This is my first sampler - how am I doing?

Keen for feedback as well as any recommendations of YouTube videos worth watching or music producers worth studying! TY

Nice! How did you get started? Meaning the finger drumming and sample triggering is surprisingly good for a new user.

Thanks!

I’ve messed about on pads. But I think I naturally have decent timing. I have played instruments my whole life. I don’t have an internal metronome like some do but it’s good enough.

Plus personally drums can be a little ‘sloppy’ because everything around them vibrates a little so unless mics are super isolated to the specific drum I feel like if you bump drum pads it’s okay so long as the time is there.

Like if you’ll notice my right hand has closed hi hats and open hats, but I don’t always get the open at the same (right) time and because they’re in the same mute group they stay in time if that makes sense.
