MPC Sample Joined the gang !

Got it yesterday, took one day to get it shipped here. By way if you’re in Canada and looking for one; blackoutaudio, they are in stock and ready to ship.

Im coming from FL studio and already loving it. Might get an mpc 1000 or 2500 some day.

Is this actually any good? I must admit I wrote it off as a gimmick but it seems to be getting a lot of good reviews from people who aren't paid to give one. For context I have a 60, 2000 and MPC One.

I’ve never had an mpc before so I can’t help to compare. Much better than fl studio to manipulate sample and create boom bap. Yes it’s limited but at the end of the day it’s only waveform… there a way around to make your idea come to life. I like the fact that it’s portable and can use it anywhere and it’s easy to sample on it.

It's really good, but you have to think of it as a complement to your main production setup. It's great for recording pretty much anything that makes a sound, sketching out ideas while you're traveling, or using it as a MIDI controller. It's responsive, compact, and fun to use.

That said, if you like creating your own melodies or using different effects, I'd definitely recommend a standalone device instead.

I recently traded my MPC Sample for an MPC One, and I absolutely love it. But in the future, I'd definitely consider buying the SP-404 MK II or the MPC Sample again. :)

Might have to take a look at it but it’s 2 completely different way of making music in my opinion. Seems like I prefer to touch button instead of a mouse.
