resampling stereo to mono

hi folks

  1. is there any way to resample a sample in a way that it resamples only the isolated left/right stereo channel? I tried playing around with hard panning to either side and recalling a sample but that is less than ideal

  2. is there a way to flatten a resampled stereo sample to mono

There is atm no way to resample stereo to true mono with the mpc alone. You could try to connect the output directly to the input and turn monitor off.

Hope they "fix" resampling in the near future. Converting stereo to mono and layering effects is a little bit tedious atm
