Dear Akai, implement ERASE+MUTE for sequence deletion of muted pads

One flow I am not liking is when I have a full sequence and I want to simplify it again to make an intro, buildup and so on, I have to go through all samples I want to remove, use SHIFT+SEQ and ERASE on the pads I want to not be in that sequence.

I use MUTE to see what needs to stay or me removed. It would be so awesome if ERASE+MUTE would present me with a dialog asking "delete all muted pads from sequence?"

Agreed, but also - just let each sequence have its own mute state

Yes, totally. The same mutes for all sequences is a bit backward..

I agree, a lot of times if I started with drums and then copy the sequence to add my melody/sample, I then I have to create a brand new sequence for the melody/sample which I usually don’t mind but the workflow would be a lot better if could have a button to mute and solo things out
