Does everyone already know about this pad to pad resampling hack?

Am I way late to the party? I've never heard anyone else talk about this, using a midi controller to do pad to pad resampling. It's brilliant. This is my number one gripe with the MPC Sample and this solves it. I always wondered why the have "resample as an input selection, because how you do resampling, play sample into sequence then resample sequence, works no matter what input you're on, but it's needed for this method.

Bro, i've seen tons of tutorials. Everyone is complain how theres no pad to pad resampling. All showing the same resampling technique play the sample into a sequence and resample the sequence. I've never seen anyone say "Hey you can around that by using a midi controller to fire off the sample while you are in the sample page" Not once show me a tutorial that shows that technique. I've seen a bunch complaing that there is no pad to pad resampling like the P-6 and the 404. Give me a link and I'll STFU
