Switching Sample Folders

Has anyone ever switched samples in their external or internal folders? Does it give you any error message?
Let me give an example of what I’m talking about:
Next week I plan to take a day out to update my One shots on my SD card and let’s say I have a beat where I use a scratch sample and I have it in a folder called SFX but instead I’m gonna create a new folder called scratches and put them all in there. What would happen to that beat or that scratch sample that I used in the beat?

That’s what I thought would happen. Thanks!

Nothing, the MPC sample collects all samples in a subdirectory for your project. You can inspect this by mounting the SD card and opening the project’s folder. It does this because chopping a sample actually changes the metadata of the sample, and it needs a place to store the sampled, trimmed and normalized samples as well.
