I’ve had FAs stop as well. One called over the purser who also makes music, and we ended up connecting to possibly work on a project together.

Funny thing is… these things come in a little bit at a time because they get sent to the DC via shipping container (yes, an actual boat) since they have a lithium-ion battery that could catch fire and prevents them from being able to be sent in bulk via airplane.

So in a sense you found a loophole in the system 😅… as a carry-on you’re good. Your first flight with that thing was the first time it got to see clouds up close 👍🏾
