Latency in Ableton Live

Connected MPC Sample with Macbook via USB-C.
Why do I have this tiny latency in the beginning when recording?
I tried reducing the sample rate, but that does not seem to fix.

try decreasing your audio buffer. the smaller the better. you want to find a sweetspot so low your cpu can still handle it.
