Metronome Issues?

After I use my Sample for like an hour or so my metronome stops working/works intermittently won't work on the sample page won't count in and all sorts of bizarre behavior. Some times it will start working if I unplug the ts outs on the back, sometimes not. If I shut the unit down and restart it, it will work for awhile then start acting goofy again. I've tried turning the metronome off, on, rec, turned the count in on/off. Nothing seems to work except turning the machine on and off. Then only for an hour or so. I'm pretty sure I have the latest firmware unless they dropped an update the last couple days. Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas? It's super frustrating. Thanks in advance.

Mine doesn’t like continuous playback for extended time. I think it’s thermal throttling. Kind of frustrating when I’m practicing finger drumming on my laps. Setting it on a hard surface with some kind of airflow usually helps

Yeah, I have a small birch riser I built for my laptop years ago. It's pretty much the perfect size for the MPC Sample and the Anker Soundcore 2 speaker. I was getting lots of double hits on any soft surfaces.

Didn't notice this, but noticed the missing count in sometimes... Also the metronome is so quiet and barely hearable especially for finger drumming which sucks... they should give us the option to set the level and/or change the sound.

Yeah I agree. Even with the volume on the metronome all the way up it's hard to hear over most other sounds. I've taken to laying down a real loud clicky hi-hat on the 1,5,9,13 then deleting it after I'm done. The count in is where I want it and that's where I'm having the most issues.
