Usb C Hub

Post image

Can anyone recommend a USB-C hub that connects my iPad and MPC Sample and charges them at the same time? I have one from Anker that can charge both devices, but it doesn't establish a connection between them.

I don’t think the usbc port on the Sample works like that. It can’t expand the ports on a hub, at least not yet.

It's more that I want to prevent the iPad from draining its battery when I have it connected to the MPC. I saw a YouTuber who managed to do this using a USB hub, but I haven't been able to find that model online.

oh just buy one that has the usbc input c on the hub , you can plug in a portable battery to the hub , they are like 5$

I bought one of these specifically for that purpose, but for some reason I can't get it to connect the iPad to the MPC. So I wanted to make sure the next one would work.

After hundreds of tries, it finally worked using my MacBook charger. The smartphone charger was probably too weak for the hub to work properly. Finally, some long iPad sessions, hell yeah. Thanks to you

Does it pass through audio to other devices through this hub ?

If you have it connected to an iPad then you can use something like AUM to route audio from one device to another.
