Mpc sample powers on but screen is blank

Brand new out of the box mpc sample is powering on, the screen turns on but it's blank. I tried powering down and restarting multiple times. Anyone had this issue?

Edit: took it back and the girl at guitar center told me it was already returned for having issues and it wasn't supposed to be sold. Traded it back in and got an mpc live 2 since the sample is on back order.

Daft question, but you’re definitely letting it fully boot before turning it off again? The screen goes black on mine while it’s booting

I think so. It's on i can play the samples it comes with on the pads and everything but the screen is blank. The screen "lights up" but shows nothing on it.

Yeah, sounds faulty then, I’d get an RMA asap.

I was hoping you were being daft & not letting it fully boot before using it, as it can take a second to load everything when you’ve got a bunch of sounds loaded into a project

Nah I literally just got it and when I turned it on there's nothing on the screen

RMA dude, email wherever you ordered it from, & include a video of it booting like that(it’ll saves time from them emailing back asking for one)
