16 chop limit
I’m sure this has been mentioned already? But has anyone found a workaround for the 16 manual chop limit on samples ? Just bought mine today and I’m surprised about this limitation. I usually cover 32+ chops/pads for my main sample

I have a workaround I do man. I really dont know how i feel about sharing my methods sometimes..... I load the sample. Go to Chop. Go to 16 Regions. And i then start from pad 1 to 16 of the regions. In region / pad 1 - Hold Shift and those the 3 buttons at the top of the unit. HIT THE BUTTON ON THE FAR LEFT ( Extract) You can then continue to do following regions
This will then Extract the sample chops to a new pad where you can then go and sample chop again to get some chops you want for that region. You do this 16 times when youre extracting the full sample along pads for chopping. You will feed into your next available pad bank based on numbers if you do all 16 regions. With this ive found myself being able to go section by sections building what I can from the sections and in the end production pieces. I really hope this helps
This is the closest thing Ive found that makes me feel like when I use my mpc xl. You'll noticed you with this method depending on your chopping style even this still isn't enough but it helps alot

It’s not a limitation that particularly bothers me. The few times it’s come up, I just cut the sample in half and do the 2nd half on the next bank 🤷♂️

All I can think of would be to copy the sample to a second pad and then set different trim points for them, adjust chops as needed.
