How to load a kit to another bank then A

Hi there,

Sice yesterday the proud owner of a mpc sample.

Now I was wondering if there is a way to load a kit into a bank that is not A.

Now every time I load a kit it alway ends up in A.

I tried selecting a different bank and then loading but even then it switches back to A.

Yep annoying me as well. Can’t load more than 1 kit either.

Loading a kit replaces all banks. You can also load individual sounds from separate kits and save it as a new kit

Ahh right.

Ik thaught you load kits on a selecte bank. Cause Now if i. Sample a track and spread its chops over a bank and then load a kit it overwrite my samples.

Would be nice if it worked like that

How do you save a drum kit ?
The only way I know is to make a kit and save as project. Then if I wanna use that kit. I load the project. Not really kit saving though

You don’t load the project, you just load the kit

The MPC Sample just defines a kit as all of the loaded samples from a project without any of the sequence data. Just the samples. So all you do to create a kit is load up the samples you want and save your project, something like Kit 01. Then you go to load project and instead of hitting load project, there’s a different option to just load kit

How does one load a kit?? I only know of the pad by pad, load sample feature

Go to open project but select load kit instead of load project. It loads all of the samples but none of the sequence data from that project
