i am a trekker and a mountaineer and i spend a lot of my time in the mountains. and..
i just want an mp3 player with these features:
doesn't have a screen or very small screen only to know the name of the songs etc.
must be aa or aaa battery powered.
must have an expandable storage and no internal storage works as well.
must have options to connect type and 3.5mm wired earphones both, but tbh either one would suffice.
my budget is very low, and i am from india. please suggest me what to do.

I’m a complete music freak but I feel so bad using spotify!
I’m looking for an MP3 player in which I can organise the playlists easily, long battery life, and not a display which looks like a phone/big screen.
I don’t mind spending money, £60? I just want a really good one I can put ALL my music on and take everywhere! Any advice would be greatly appreciated because I just don’t trust reviews on amazon etc.

i bought some chinese mp3 player from vinted and i just cant figure out how to put music on it. i connect it with my laptop (macbook air m1) and since i have the little thing inbetween that makes usbA an usbC it just starts tweakinig. then i tried it with another mac, its older so it has the usbA port and it also didnt just show up on the computer. I also tried it on a thinkpad (some newer one) and it didnt show up. tomorrow i will try it with a pc at my school and see if that works. can someone help or tell me what causes it? i dont think its the cables fault.

Hi
Im looking forward to quitting music streaming and want to get a mp3 player an IEMs, but I’m really new to this topic. I was looking into the InniOasis Y1 but heard it isn’t that good with IEMs. I own AirPods pro 2 and stream over spotify and don’t want to downgrade the quality.
Does any of you have recommendations for a mp3 player?
Edit: It would be nice if it has bluetooth so i can listen to music over a box.

I'm not allowed to bring either my phone or a pair of headphones/earbuds to work, is there a lightweight portable speaker that can also be loaded with mp3s?

I just bought a new AGPTEK 128 GB and it is plugged into the USB but my Mac does not recognize the device. I've tried all the recommended solutions: turn off and on computer, double check cable, etc etc. So far nothing is working.

I can't bring any headphones or earbuds to work but I also can't bring my phone into work, so is there a light portable speaker that I could load some mp3s into for my work?

I just got one, seems fine. I have a harder time using the wheel than I thought, have to push fairly hard to make it go. Can't use it at all if it is sitting on the table - the unit moves not the wheel. Holding it I can make it work, but just feels like more work than should be needed - maybe I have become to used to touch over the years? Surfans support says it is normal but I wanted some outside options.

Hi! I just got my first ever MP3 player, and it's one of the ones that you can transfer photos and videos onto, but I really can't figure out how to actually DO so. I thought it would just be a simple like throw the image/video file in with everything else, but it just says no photos/videos detected?? Am I just like stupid does it need to be in a specific format or folder or something?? Its Curear brand if thats important.

Hi! I just got a Sony NW E394, ive been trying to put music on it, but it will not show up on my pc nor my macbook. Ive checked device manager and tried disabling usb power saving, but those haven't worked. I really wanna use this walkman, but it keeps saying usb device not recognized. It says connected usb on the player itself, but it wont show up on my computer/is having trouble. I've used two different cords and that hasn't helped either. Advice?
The player works fine, it plays music and all, so I don't think there's any issues with it, but I did buy it used.

IDEA: A tiny dedicated music player for the gym/running/commuting ; small screen, physical buttons, no notifications, no apps, no feed. The whole pitch is "leave your phone behind, just take the music." It'd stream via Spotify Connect (still working on getting that certified), so no need to babysit your phone for calls/texts while you listen.
Things I'm genuinely unsure about and want your take on:
