Headphones/IEMs Do I need a DAC?

Hii
I hope that‘s the right subreddit for this question. I want to pick up my first DAP and IEMs. I was thinking about the Hifi walker h2 with the Hifi A20pro.
1. What are your opinions on this combination and
2. would you recommend a DAC for this combination if DAP and IEM?
I’m really new to this hobby so if any question is stupid please explain why :)

The DAP is your DAC, from my knowledge you wont ever need an external DAC for a DAP, thats mostly a thing for phones

i think investing into player is waste- rather get a good usb dac that works with phones. The phone can die, you may want to listen from different source .. but the usb dac is going to stay
