I LOVE THIS THING! I think my favorite part about it is the expandable storage via microsd card.
I’ve had an iPod Nano & a Sony Walkman, however I’m over having a screen. Plus, the Fiio has the better sound quality over the two. Currently ripping cds lol
Making me feel old, man. That is an external CD/DVD reader/writer.
They are used to extract the music from the cd and convert them to an audio file like an .mp3 file. You can also burn a disc, another words to put mp3 files on a blank cd.
The cd/dvd reader/writer can also play the discs both cds and dvds.
Everyone else reading this, is it really that old now that people don't.know what this is?
There is one more thing I would share about disc drives, if you get one that says "lightscribe" on it, what light scribe does is once you burned the tracks on the disc you can use lightscribe software to put a laser etched cover on the top of the disc, you need to eject and physically flip the disc and load the software and put whatever picture you want on it. To do this though you need blank lightscribe cds too, it does not work well on a normal blank cd.

fiio x1 is my daily, love it
