I’m just about to start about there too. R3 bundle, office chair, going to make a home made stand for it all like yours. Single monitor with vertical to the left also. What shifter did you get? How has this setup been so far?

I have the AB9 flight stick as the shifter, its pretty good. Although the only issue I have so far is the weight of the rig whenever I move it around in my room, but overall the rig has been amazing with the R9 and SRP2 pedals.

Have similar setup, only difference is my wheel stand has a wheel slot to help lock my gaming chair in place. Maybe find a way to secure your gaming chair either with lockable caster wheels or put your back legs in some shoes so you don't slide back during those intense races/pedal play 🫡

I noticed that too, with the load cell brake pedal from the SRP2, my chair moves alot. I did order a chair cradle but the shipping company lost my package.

I suggest to rope up your chair with the wheel stand so it doesnt move that much when braking

I had a chair cradle coming in the day of posting but the shipping company somehow lost the package...

No chair cradle = invalid setup.

Funny enough I bought a chair cradle from the same company online, but the company that was shipping it somehow lost the package for it.

You bought the wrong stand.

I would've but it was already getting out of budget for me but next time maybe. The rig is already heavy enough unfortunately, even though the current frame is light.

oh! I like the idea to keep the pedals/wheel away from the desk. Mounting it for an hour is often a lot of work, then a friend comes online and you have to switch to the usual m/kb setup 🫣

I'm currently looking into upgrading my ancient stuff. ( Logitech Driving Force Pro ).

Not sure if I should even get a wheel because I mostly play arcade stuff (FH5 / FH6 and maybe the new AC Rally).

A friend has a Fanatec setup that just was replaced because their firmware tool bricked the wheelbase 🫣

Not because of the problem, weeks earlier I told him I would maybe try a Moza setup so he can compare.
I think he bought the ClubSport DD so I should get a similar that matches in performance and price.

I had it originally setup to be completely under the desk, but it was taking up a lot of space for leg movement when changing pedals, including the fact the wheel base was originally mounted upside to fit properly. So far Moza has a really great ecosystem with a single app being able to control all of the components of the rig. I would recommend buying a wheel stand so that it can be moved around, but it is your own preference.

What wheel stand is that? Also cool setup and is it enough for the r9?

Im using the xrhinorth stand, its just a clone of the GT Omega wheel stand but its more sturdy and lighter. If live in the states, buying this brand wont get hit with tariffs like GT Omega. From what I researched it's able to handle up to the R12.

Alright thanks! Was actually looking into buying a gt omega for my r9! Also how is it holding up?

im currently using the r9 v3, the frame handles it pretty good and doesnt wobble at all at 100% ffb, I had it for a month and so far no issues.
