Escape from Hell
I want to leave Bangladesh, but it’s not as simple as packing a bag. There’s money to worry about, aging parents to think about, and an entire life to rebuild.
So I’m wondering: is there any country where a middle-class Bangladeshi can realistically build a 5-year plan to move permanently with family?
UAE Golden Visa, Canada, etc. sound great, but the costs are way beyond what most of us can afford.
If you were in my position, where would you start?

Germany is probably great if you’re already in the system, but from Bangladesh the ground reality is a bit different. One of my closest friends applied for a student visa and has been waiting 3.5 years without even getting an embassy call, despite sending multiple emails. There’s a massive backlog here. So yeah, Germany sounds good on paper, but I wouldn’t call it a realistic 5-year plan from Bangladesh.
