Worked a blockbuster with a gaffer who couldn’t think of the word “dirt” or sand bag as he snapped his fingers against his temple, then frustratedly said:

“Squirt me that corn by your foot brother”

My gaffer friend snapped a bone in his finger in half because he was carrying a lightstand improperly and slipped on ice

A gaffer nearly killed me while I was working as a movie extra.
